Nora Jean Williams Westerfield Francis, born July 12, 1956, died February 17, 2024 after an unexpected illness. Nora was a beautiful daughter and a loving sister. She brought so much joy to her whole family. Nora lived her life the way she wanted which didn’t end with her death. She will be dearly missed.
Nora was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Thelma and Merrell Williams. She moved to Kennedale, Texas when she was 4 years old and she went to school in Kennedale from grade 1 until she graduated Kennedale High School in 1974. Nora loved helping people. In fact, she went on to become a Rehab Counselor for Abused Men, Women and Children. In 2009, Nora, mom and Paula moved to Spokane Washington to be with her younger sister, Connie, brother-in-law, nephews and their families. Nora loved the beauty of the Northwest and being with her family; however, everyday she missed her brother Larry who remained in Texas. She loved talking football and wrestling with him. Nora loved everybody and everybody loved her. She had a great sense of humor and kept it to the very end. Nora was an advocate for everyone, especially her family.
Nora leaves behind her Mother, Thelma “Bobbie” Williams, Brother, Larry Willams (Wife Kelly), 2 Sisters, Paula Sue Farley and Connie Lee Powell (Husband Warner). Nora also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, one great great niece and many friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Paul Merrell Williams and her only Son, James “Jamie” William Westerfield, III.
