BURLESON -- Orville V. Stoldt passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 4201 Mitchell Blvd., Fort Worth. Burial: 1 p.m. Friday in Confederate Cemetery, Alvin. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church.
He was born Dec. 13, 1922. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather. He served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a chief petty officer E-7. After retiring from the Navy he gave 23 years to the American National Insurance Company. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita; his parents, William and Toyal Gladys Stoldt; and his stepson, Ervin W. Rutherford.
Survivors: His wife, Betty Stoldt; daughters, Patrica and husband, Jacque Eagon, Barbara and husband, Joel Lowe; stepsons, Richard Rutherford, Joseph Rutherford and Daniel Rutherford; stepdaughters, Sandra Parker, Judith Moss and Carol Harrison; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Eckfeld; and a host of other family and friends.
