IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Kay
Adams
December 16, 1937 – January 20, 2026
Patricia Kay Adams, of Burleson, Texas passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026 at 88 years old.
Born in Decatur, Texas to Paul & Ethel Cantrell, on December 16, 1937. Patsy grew up in Mansfield & Kennedale, Texas. She enjoyed gardening and loved baseball, whether it be to play it, coach her daughters’ teams or simply watch her beloved Texas Rangers.
She lived her life by being a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother while doing her part to make the ladies of Fort Worth feel their most beautiful as she managed the Final Touch Beauty Salon for more than 50 years. As a talented wig artist, she styled hair for many productions of the Casa Manana theater troupe, the Parade of Mini-Bike Elvis Presley impersonators and the famously curly locks of the original Ronald McDonald clown. She had the joy of donating her time, talent and many wigs to the patients of the Texas Oncology Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter & son-in-law, Gina & Carl Richardson and daughter, Pamela Spears. She is survived by her brother, Perry Cantrell, youngest daughter, Glenda Adams-Prewitt and husband, Sam, her six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and many other friends that affectionately knew her as “Granny”.
