Patsy Loretta Hudson passed away on November 1, 2026, at her residence in Temple, Texas, at the age of 85.

Born on March 8, 1941, in Olney, Texas, Patsy was the daughter of Edward and Lola Taylor Hudson. She grew up in Fort Worth, where she spent her early years and later graduated from Poly Tech High School. Following high school, she began a long and dedicated career with the Tarrant County Courthouse, where she sold marriage licenses for 35 years. Through that work, she was part of countless important moments in the lives of others, serving the community with steady commitment over many decades.

Patsy will be remembered with affection by her friend, Julia Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lola Taylor Hudson.

A graveside service will be held on November 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, Texas 76060. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
