Peggy Joyce Geier (Puckett), 78, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, surrounded by the family she cherished. Jesus took her home, at approximately 12:30am, on the same day as Pope John Francis.
She was an amazing Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt that radiated positivity. Peggy believed in Jesus, miracles, and to follow every dream regardless of age.
Her dream of being a pathologist was accompanied by her dream of marrying her beloved husband Gary and raising a beautiful family as the mother of Judy, Gary and Merle. She was an equally kind person to her grandchildren Kayla and Gary, as well as her nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends that came along with this growing family.Peggy loved California to vacation in Carmel, California and Pacific Grove in Monterey Bay. She loved learning and took great pride in sharing facts of love, mankind, and nature with her family. She also loved her fur babies and all types of music.
Peggy’s kindness, laughter, and love will be missed deeply—but will never be forgotten by the loving family that keeps her memory in their hearts. Though sad, her family knows she’s happily dancing with Jesus now, maybe even on a beach in heaven.
Peggy is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Puckett; sister, Carolyn Flynn (Puckett); brothers, Michael and Robert Puckett; nephew Timmy; mother and father-in-law Ethel and Merle Geier; sister-in-law Jan Geier.
Peggy is survived by her beloved husband, Gary; three children, Judy Lynn Geier, Gary Gene Geier, and Merle Eugene Geier; two grandchildren, Kayla Geier (and her husband Matthew Szatkowski), and Gary Geier (III); sister-in-law, Judy Puckett; nieces, Laura Bradley, Lisa Geier (and her husband James); nephews, Donny Puckett (and fiancee Lisa “Suzy”); brothers-in-law Jim Geier (and wife Darla), and Jack Geier (and wife Joni).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Peggy’s honor to her favorite charities – St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, or Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital.
