Robert Davis

Robert Wayne Davis was born May 3, 1935.  He went to be with his Savior on July 7, 2018.  He had four older brothers and four older sisters.  Robert met Bobbie Tedder growing up on the same street and attending the same school.  When they were 19 years old, Robert proposed to Bobbie and they married four months later.  They celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on June 15, 2018.

Robert and Bobbie had 2 children, Steven and Dana.  He was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Robert worked at the Sentinel Record in Hot Springs until 1969 when they moved to Irving, TX.  He retired from Bowne of Dallas in 1997.  After retirement, they moved back to Hot Springs.  In 2007, they made the move back to Mansfield.  Wherever Robert lived, he was sure to live close to a lake that was filled with bass and catfish.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bobbie; son, Steven Davis and wife Heidi; daughter, Dana Forehand and husband Jack; grandkids, Casey, Crystal, Jessica, Ashleigh; great-grandkids, Megan, Madison, McKenzie, Kylie, Emily, Wyatt, Hayley, Everett and Autumn.

Funeral service for Robert will be Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10 A.M. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, Texas.
