Robert Franklin Mowell, Jr.

Robert (Bobby) Mowell, Jr., 67, passed away on March 12, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on August 8, 1956, in Fort Worth, to Bob and Faye Mowell.

Bobby grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School in 1974. He attended Arlington Baptist College after high school and later completed his degree at Dallas Baptist University in 2001 where he received a degree in Business Administration. He retired from Bell Helicopter in 2018.

Bobby enjoyed playing golf, camping, model trains and playing musical instruments.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Faye Mowell.

Bobby is survived by his 3 children: son, Josh (Ruthie) Mowell, son, Jeff (Heather) Mowell, daughter, Jennifer (Jon) Mayes; his sister, Rhonda (Philip) Jackson; his grandchildren, Jewel, Oakley, Hunter, and Ivy Kay, and his nephews and nieces, Matt (Melissa), Stephen, and Bethany (Graham).

The family will be greeting friends and relatives at Southcliff Baptist Church on April 6th in the Fellowship Hall.  The Friends & Family Fellowship will be from 11:00am-1:00pm with a brief service at 11:30am.  This will be a come and go event. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to any Alzheimer's Association. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Brookdale Assisted Living Westover Hills as well as Ultimate Plus Hospice.
