Robert Van Puckett

Robert Van Puckett, 73, passed away peacefully on the 3rd day of March 2024 in Arlington, TX.

He was born on September 26, 1950 in Sherman, Texas to Timothy Dodd and Margaret Evelyn Puckett.

Robert and his family moved from Sherman to Arlington when he was 9 years old.

He graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1969.  

Robert married Judy Grizzell in 1970. They were married for almost 54 years.

He was a member of First Baptist Church Kennedale for 20+ years.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Margaret and sister Carolyn Flynn.

He is survived by his spouse, Judy; two sons, Donnie (Suzy) and Jeffrey. 

Grandsons Nathan, John, William, Benjamin and Justin.

Brothers Michael and Garry Puckett of Tennessee and sister Peggy Geier of Arlington

and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church Kennedale 309 N. Kenney St.

on Monday March 11, 2024 at 11am.  Visitation will be at 9:30am prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
