Ruby Barnes

Ruby D Barnes, of Arlington, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020.  She was born on February 18, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas to William Sanford Deuvall Sr. and Nina B (Kelley) Deuvall. Ruby had many interests, talents and hobbies of which her favorite would be her grandchildren.  Her other interests include seamstress, gardener, upholstery, cook and twenty-five years with Ebby Halliday.  For a number of years, she was active in the Mansfield Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron.  Ruby is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, William H Barnes; and granddaughter, Linsey Peigh Wakeland.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Billie Evans and husband Butch, William H “Hank” Barnes Jr. and wife Rhonda, Paula Johnson and husband Bobby, Peggy Wakeland, Pam Wakeland and husband Danny, Darrell Barnes Sr. and wife Mona; twenty seven grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Ruby will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 1:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.  The family will receive family and friends Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 6:00-8:00PM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
