Sharon Gayle Colvin Westbrook passed away on January 27, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on October 1, 1942, in Beloit, Wisconsin to Loyd Westbrook and Easter Maud Ludwig Westbrook.
Since her father was a veterinarian, as a child she lived in several states growing up.
She worked for R.I.P. incorporated for several years in the office then went on to get her G.E.D. and getting her real estates license and cosmetology license for nails and facials she did that in 1-1998 that’s where she found her love of home and health care. She did her own she loved cooking healthy meals and taking care of all her clients and they loved her too. She retired at the age of 75.
She was a member of the Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist church but went to all and loved helping in the kitchen for potluck she was helping the school mission trip in Kibidula with prayers and donations.
Sharon married Billy Ray Colvin in Cleburne, Texas and had 2 boys and 1 girl. They divorced in 1992. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Loyd Westbrook; Mother, Easter Maud Ludwig Westbrook; sisters, Dayrl Yvonne Westbook and Cynda Westbrook Boyd; brother, David Lowel Westbrook; Husband, Billy Ray Colvin Sr.; sons, Billy Ray Colvin Jr. and Byron Dean Colvin; and grandson, James Dean Turnbull.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Tina Turnbull of Grandbury, Texas; daughter-in-laws, Mindy Colvin Woods of Arlington, Texas; Shelly Colvin Stephens of Venes, Texas; grandsons, Paul Allen Turnbull Jr., Bradley Dean Colvin, Stephen Hays; Granddaughters, Donna Gayle Colvin, Billie Raye Colvin; Great Grandchildren, James Dean Turnbull Jr., Olivia Lyn Colvin; Nieces and Nephews, Jenny Russel and John Russel, Tim Owens, Scott Westbrook, Charlene westbrook Whatley, Robin Westbrook Stewart, Jeff Blevins, Theresa Blevins-Leblanc and Tammy Blevins.
A memorial service will be held at Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4409 Pleasantview Drive, Arlington, Texas 76017 at 3:00pm on Saturday, April5, 2025, in the revive room downstairs in the church.
