Heaven help the angels, Shelia has arrived and is probably decorating to her liking already. Born on January 13, 1953, Shelia was a one-of-a-kind woman who lived life on her own terms and never apologized for it. She was strong-willed, deeply loving, and, let's be honest, just the tiniest bit stubborn.
Shelia was the kind of person who could intimidate you and love you to pieces in the same breath. If you earned her love, you had it for life, and no one knew that love better than her late husband Pat, who passed in 2020. Shelia and Pat balanced each other perfectly, and she never stopped missing him. We all like to think they are finally reunited.
She leaves behind a family who adored her: her children Tammy (married to Scott, who wisely stayed on her good side) and Tommy (with his wonderful partner Nancy, who Shelia always said was too good for him). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Taylor and his wife Erica, Ty and his wife Carrie, Savanna and her fiancée Kyle, and her granddaughters Cheyenne and Emma.
She taught us all how to be strong, loyal, how to love fiercely, and how to fight for what matters to us. We will miss her stubbornness, her warm hugs, and her fierce determination to make everything exactly the way she wants it. The world is a little quieter now, but heaven's about to get a whole lot livelier.
Rest easy, Nanny. Give Pat a kiss and bear hug for us all. Enjoy your reunion dinner and games together. And please, don't boss the angels around too much.
