Sylvia Shoemaker

Sylvia Shoemaker 81 passed away 01/03/21 at MCA in Arlington, Texas. She was born 10/23/39 in Gorman, Texas to Edward and Mary (Cornwell) Harvey.

Sylvia grew up in Arlington. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1957. She attended the University of Texas-Arlington (UTA) where she received Bachelor of Business. She worked for the State of Texas as a social worker for 15 years. She retired in 2011.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Julie Moore, Robin Terry and Reagan Shoemaker; Brothers, Joe (Sherry) Harvey and Jerry (Vicki) Harvey; grandchildren, Michael Snead, Jake Moore, Adam Moore, Jade Irvin, Carlie Diedrich, Giovanna Cancella; Great-grandchildren, Grayson Busher and Molly Moore.

A Celebration of life will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, Texas 76060 at 1pm Monday, January 11th, 2021.
