Mansfield

Mansfield, Texas -- Angelica White, 59, passed on July 4, 2021. Funeral will be held on Friday July 16 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, Texas.

Angie was born in Olton, Texas to Adela and Rogelio Anaya and raised in Arlington. She graduated from James Bowie High School in 1980 and spent her career working in medical admitting and billing at DFW Medical Center, Term Billing, Tots and Tykes, NurseFinders, and Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Angie maintained close friendships with many of the people she worked with throughout the years.

Angie and her husband Trey retired in 2018 and enjoyed travelling all over the United States. Their trips often were unplanned road trips. They loved having a tentative itinerary with impromptu visits to whatever or wherever their hearts desired. Although they visited many places, Angie’s favorite part of travelling was the journey. Angie also enjoyed get-aways with her sisters, Linda, Melba, Sylvia, and Yolanda.

When she was not travelling, Angie enjoyed talking to friends, family, and complete strangers. She never met a person that she could not strike up a conversation with. Angie found her way into countless families as she was the essence of empathy and compassion. Through phone calls, facetime, and lunch dates, Angie stayed connected with an impossible amount of people daily. In addition to her two kids, Abby and Jay, Angie was a second mom for many friends and family. She was extremely proud of her family and loved to share their accomplishments.

Angie will certainly be remembered for her ability to bring people together and “stir the pot” for a good laugh. Her iconic faces, snarky remarks, and ever evolving nicknames will live on in those that were lucky enough to have experienced them. It is without a doubt that her presence will be missed at future family gatherings, and we will all have to play are part in carrying on here vivacious spirit.

Angie was a very giving person throughout her life and even in death she gave life to others through organ donation.

Although she will not be here physically for future milestones and memories, her presence will remain palpable in all our lives.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Adela and Rogelio; step-dad, Luis; three sisters, Maria, Velma, and Virginia; and her brother, Ruben.

Angie is survived by husband, Trey; son, Jay, and wife, Chelsea; daughter, Abby; sisters, Linda, Melba, Sylvia, and Yolanda; brother, Raul; and an abundance of family and friends.
