Betty Campbell

Betty Jean Campbell 81, was best known as “Nanny Betty” passed away on 17 December 2021. Betty was born on June 3, 1940 in Ft. Worth Texas to LeRoy and Vera Hines Taylor.

She grew up in Ft. Worth Tx. She graduated from PSJA in Pharr Tx.in 1956.

Betty married Alton “Cowboy” in 1958 in Ft Worth, Texas. They were happily married for 47 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cowboy; her parents, LeRoy Taylor and Vera Freeman; her brothers, Roy and Kenneth Taylor.

Betty is survived by her son, Darryl Campbell of Kennedale Tx.; her daughter, Christie Campbell of Everman Tx.; granddaughter, Sarah Trussell and husband Mason of Godley Tx.; great-grandchildren, Barrett and Brooks; sister, Barbara Schreiner of Burleson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd from 6p-8p on Wednesday December 22, 2021.
