Betty Jean (Long) Warner of Arlington, Texas passed away December 7, 2019. Betty was born July 24, 1951 in Freeport, Illinois and was one of 11 children of the late Donald and Norma Long. While Chicago was always in her heart, Betty moved to Texas and called it home for the past 35 years. Betty loved fast cars, good food, and helping others. She enjoyed traveling and decorating her home for holidays. More than anything else, Betty loved being Nana to her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Betty’s memories are her son William Zawodniak and wife Debbie; daughter Amy Countryman and husband Franklin; son-in-law David Adkinson; grandsons Hayden Zawodniak and Dax Adkinson; siblings Bob Long, Bernie Long, Bonnie Winnie, Brenda Deckert, Bradley Long, Brian Long, and Beth Long, best friend Mary “Pinky” Pinkerton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her mom Linda Toczek; daughter Lisa Adkinson; granddaughter Isabella Adkinson; and siblings Bill Long, Barbara Posada, and Bruce Long.

Visitation will be Monday, December 16th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00am at Emerald Hills Funeral Home with interment of ashes to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale.
