Bradley (Brad) Wayne Smith, 38, of Garland, Texas went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on July 10, 2019.  Brad was born May 28, 1981 in Dallas, Texas and was raised in Arlington, Texas.

He graduated Martin High School, Arlington, Texas in 2000 where he played football and was a member of the track team.Brad was a member of the Arlington Police Department Explorer Unit during high School, which his fondest memory was to serve as a body guard for Troy Aikman during the grand opening of Aikman Auto Mall in Fort Worth, TX

Brad was a very talented pitmaster who won many awards for his mouth watering BBQ and his signature hot sauces.  Brad always said he was trained by the greatest pitmaster, his step father & mentor Dwight Graham. Brad was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He took great pride in his marksmanship & loved teaching gun safety.  Brad was a true patriot to his country who firmly believed in the 2nd Amendment and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He was a true historian of all wars. Brad was a huge “prankster” and loved to play jokes on people, which he was very good at, especially on his mother & son.

Brad was a member of St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Garland, Texas.

Brad was employed by Ben E. Keith Beers (Dallas/Austin Divisions) which he took great pride in his job and felt blessed to be part of a great team.

Proceeded in death by his step-father, Dwight H. Graham, maternal grandparents, John McKay & Joy McKay -Rowell, Great Uncle, James (Jim) Bellamy and cousin, Kevin Bellamy, all whom Brad loved deeply.

Left to cherish his memories,  Son (his pride & joy), Braden Thomas Smith, Garland,TX, Mother-Cindee (Delmar) Graham, Garland, TX, Brother-Brant Smith & family of Kennedale, TX, Sister-Courtney Gill & family of White Oak, TX, Uncles-Ralph Delmar of Terlinqua, TX and Keith Delmar of Alamogordo, NM, Aunts-Linda Diane (Smith) Mcleroy, Garland, TX and Johnna McKay of Fort Worth, Texas, Stepson, Justin Armstrong, Oklahoma City, OK and a host of many other cherished & loved family & friends.

At Brads request & wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are requested to the following charities: Operation Kindness-Carrollton, TX; Ninna’s Road to Rescue-Benton, LA (RoagtoRescuela.org); Arlington or Grand Prairie Police Department's Explorer Unit

A Celebration of Life of Bradley Smith will be held on November 9th at 2:00 pm at 6405 Faircove Cir, Garland, TX 75043. Following the ceremony & Balloon release, BBQ luncheon will be provided by Bradley's Family & Friends.
