Carlos Glover

Carlos Winston Glover, 85, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Alice, Texas. He was born on July 19, 1935 in Miami, Texas to James Troy Glover and Lois Lee (Rochelle) Glover.

Carlos married Mary Katherine Glover. He loved to fish, watch wrestling, and retired as a truck driver.

Carlos was preceded in death his wife, Mary Glover; parents, James and Lois Glover; brother, Troy Lee Glover; sister, Sylvia Glover Dunn; most recently departed niece and nephew, Alma Lois, Robert Isaac, Jim Glover, and Mike Glover; and several other nieces and nephews.

Those left to cherish his memories are children, Mary Louise Glover Banik, Brenda Sue Glover, Carlos Winston Glover Jr., Debra Bodine Green and husband Robert; grandchildren, David, Emmy, Preston; siblings, Vel Mills and husband Steve, Bill Glover and wife Laurie, Lester Glover and wife Joyce; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Village Church of Christ 4100 McNiel Avenue, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308 on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 12:00PM.  Inurnment will follow at a later date at Holliday Cemetery in Holliday, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Carlos name to Adult Reading Program www.ldaamerica.org, or your favorite charity.
