Charles Fry Jr.

Charles Fry Jr., 82, passed away on 27th of January, 2021 at Medical City Arlington in Arlington Tx. He was born on February 15, 1938 in Webb, TX to Charles Fry Sr. and Lola Dell (Lambert) Fry.

Charles grew up in Webb TX (Mansfield/Arlington). He graduated from Mansfield High School in Mansfield in 1956. After high school he:

attended Tarrant County Junior College in Fort Worth, TX where he received associates degree in HVAC.
worked for National Semiconductor as New Construction Supervisor.  He retired in 1995
was involved in his church Webb Baptist Church for many years

Charles married Karen Ann in 1971 in Fort Worth, TX. They were happily married for 44 years. He enjoyed reading, fishing and tinkering.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Karen;  daughter, Sandy Fry Watkins; father, Charles Fry Sr.; mother, Lola Dell Fry; his sister, Sarah Ann Fry Gillispie.

Charles is survived by his children, Charles Fry III (wife Anita Fry), Debra Hunt (husband Lucky Hunt) of Rockport, TX, Karen Lotz (husband Carl Lotz) of Converse, TX; sisters, Lola Elrich and Glennie Thom; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd. Kennedale, TX 76060 at 10am Wednesday, February 3, 2021. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Emerald Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Samaritans Purse.
