Debra Seward

Debra Ann Seward was born January 28, 1953 in Iowa.  Debbie was a lifelong animal lover and decided to pursue a career as a veterinary technician after graduating high school.  Following a successful career in veterinary medicine, she made the transition to become a medical technician and she worked for Quest Diagnostics for 30 years.

Everyone who knew her, knew that while she was quiet and very shy, she was also extremely kind and would do anything she could for her friends.  On rare occasions, she would zing us with her very dry sense of humor.

Debbie loved all things Christmas.  She would happily watch every Hallmark Christmas movie year round if possible and bought all of the Christmas music she could find every year.  I used to joke that she had enough Christmas decorations for at least two houses and she loved it all.

After she had to leave her position at Quest, my yorkie Sophie became her constant companion.   Her Sophie Grace always made her smile.  We all knew if she was having a bad day, Sophie could always make things better for her.
