Douglas D. Potts died on August 16, 2020 in Logan, Utah at the age of 91. He was born on September 1, 1928 in Hope, Kansas to Homer Guy Potts and Sally (Fritz) Potts.

Sallie Lou Potts died on July 31, 2010 in Paradise Texas at the age of 77. She was born on December 6, 1932 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Doyle Dearman and Connie (Donaldson) Dearman.

After her death Sallie has stayed with family waiting for her husband so they could be laid to rest together. Per their wishes, they will be interred at Emerald Hills Cemetery to be close to loved ones interred there.

Douglas and Sallie were active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and their marriage was sealed for time and all eternity at the Salt Lake City Temple in 1970. Just a few days short of 60 years of marriage they were separated by the death of Sallie but are now reunited in body and spirit.

Douglas and Sallie are preceded in death by their parents and are survived by their 4 children: Jimmie Potts, Douglas G. Potts, Kennith Potts and James Potts, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A Burial service will be held on September 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM, at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060 in the Guadalupe Columbarium area where Douglas and Sallie will be laid to rest together.
