Dwight Miller

Dwight Douglas Miller, passed away on May 19, 2022.  He was born on November 11, 1942, in Sanger, TX to Riley Miller and Opal Miller.

Dwight grew up in Sanger, TX. He graduated from Technical High School in Fort Worth, TX in 1960. After high school he:

joined the Air Force Reserves as a Staff Sgt.
began work for General Motors for 10 years and moved to LTV/Northrop Grumman where he retired after 35 years.

Dwight married Jean in 1986 in Rendon, TX. They were happily married for 36 years. Dwight enjoyed fishing, golf, and most of all spending time with his family, kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Opal Miller; siblings, Shirley Johnson, Gail Miller, and Keith Miller; and daughter, Franci Miller.

Dwight is survived by his spouse, Jean; his son, David Miller; daughter, Paula Deaton and husband Billy Deaton; Step son’s, Shawn Savage and Shane Savage; his grandchildren, Weston Deaton, Dylan Deaton and Austin Savage; his great-grandchild, Lane Deaton; and numerous step great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale, TX from 6:00-8:00pm on May 24, 2022.
