Pete was born on February 22nd, 1943 in Longview, TX to RG & Jocie Worthington. He resided with his wife Karen in Arlington, TX. He worked at Vought Aircraft for 35 years, 20 years as a supervisor & retired in September of 2001. He missed the people he worked with so much that he later agreed to come back as an instructor teaching the trade he loved.

Pete's hobbies included fishing, camping, & woodworking. His favorite hobby was fishing. Pete loved fishing since he was a little boy and he grew into an avid fisherman. He would fish anywhere there was water. As a matter of fact if it was big enough to cast a line he was fishing in it. He passed his love of fishing on to his family and they all enjoyed many fish fries together. He made custom fishing rods, fixed reels, and even made plastic worms. If it had to do with fishing, he had it covered! He recently made a trip to Seward, Alaska for his bucket list fishing trip where he caught many Halibut & Salmon. People who know him well usually have a “Pete fishing story” to tell. He enjoyed camping & spending time at the lake on his boat. Pete was crafty with woodwork & would often build birdhouses & items in his spare time. His dogs Shae, Candie, Bella, & Luna were his babies & could do no wrong, they never were far from his side.

He was proceeded in death by his Dad & Mom- RG & Jocie Worthington. Brothers- R Lee Worthington & Billy Jack Worthington. Father & Mother In-Law- Raymond & Bonnie Alfaro.

He is survived by his wife- Karen Worthington. Sons- Tony Worthington, Gary Worthington, Jason Chatham, Mark Berry, Eddie Gomez, & Noe Robles.
