Katy Williams

Katy Lou Williams, 82, of Decatur passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at a Fort Worth Hospital surrounded by loving family members and friends.

She was born January 27, 1937 in Tarrant County to Arthur Joseph Aderholt and Ollie Dutton Aderholt.  Katy married John Paul Williams on February 25, 1973.

She was a loving caregiver and enjoyed gardening.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the true joys of her life.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, John Paul Williams of Decatur; sister, Bertha Jane Dees of Fort Worth; son, John Paul Williams Jr. and wife Kelly of Bowie; daughters, Diane Cockrell and husband Les of Decatur and Carrie Criss and husband Hoyt of Baytown; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Katy will be Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10:30AM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale with interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, August 16, 2019 at 9:30AM at Emerald Hills Funeral Home in Kennedale.
