Mary Margaret Apple, 69, passed away on July 9, 2020 at her home in Arlington, Texas. She was born on April 27,1951 in Mineral Wells, Texas to James and Margaret Oliver Martin.

Mary grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Ryder High School in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1969. After high school she: attended college at Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas where she received a degree in Accounting.  She worked for American Airlines in Reservations, Air Cargo, and Advantage where she worked for 28 years. She retired in 2013.

Mary married Michael Apple in 1973 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They were happily married for 47 years. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, decorating, scrapbooking, and shopping.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Martin.

Mary is survived by her spouse Michael of Arlington, Texas; her daughters Tara Apple of Kennedale, Texas and Leigh Ruiz of Pearland, Texas; siblings, Patricia Austin, Jimmy Martin, and Pamela Spencer; her grandchildren Desmond, Katie, Braydyn, and Gavin, two great grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX at 1 PM, Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Burial will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home, 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday July 14, 2020. The family will be greeting friends and relatives during that time.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of their friends, Bluebonnet Hospice, the staff of Texas Oncology in Mansfield, and the wonderful people at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
