Mary Wanda Raney Griffin Trofholz passed away on March 25, 2021 at her residence in Stephenville Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on March 5, 1932 in Cooterneck, Arkansas to James Tillman Raney and Helen Raney. Mary grew up in Fordyce, Arkansas where she graduated from Fordyce high school. She married H.A.(Bud) Griffin in 1948 in Fort Worth Texas. They were happily married until his death in 1988, during their marriage they founded Saint Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church and later became a member of Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Arlington. She later married Leon Trofholz they enjoyed dancing, swimming, gambling, and travel until he passed away. She moved to Stephenville in 2005, she was an active member in her sorority, relay for life, and set on the board of the Erath county humane society. She is preceded in death by her son, James Edward Griffin and her brother, Jim Raney. She is survived by her 3 children, Debi Pinkston and her husband Gary; Terry Griffin; Stacy Erskin and her husband Rod; Her grandchildren, Alex and Kristopher Griffin, Jamey, Casey and Jacob Pinkston, Lynn, Trey, and Tylie Griffin, Tiffany Tarver, Nicholas and Nathan Brady; Great grandchildren, Morgan Pinkston, Logan Griffin, Carter Mcneal, Alle, Jones, and Jemma Brady; Her niece, Lise Armstrong; Nephews, Scott and Todd Raney.

The family would like to say a special thank you to CCS hospice in Dublin Texas and Dr. Nash of Stephenville Texas. A celebration of life service will take place on Monday, March 29th at 11am at First Baptist church Kennedale Texas. Burial immediately following at Emerald Hills Memorial Park.
