Robert Capps

I am saddened and yet full of peace as I write to you today to tell you my dear hearts that a strong family member has returned home.

A man that held great faith in God and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Talented and witty Robert held a passion for muscle cars and the thrill that comes with them.

Robert Wayne Capps a father to more than his own children passed May 08, 2019 @ 8:33pm

His is survived by his wife Tondra Capps and his children James and wife Erin and their son Alexander; Kyle and wife Jamie; Cory and wife Christina and their daughter Kate; Allison and husband Brady Bledsoe.

He has endured times that our youth of today would of succumb too as he was a burning light to his siblings Tammie, Patricia, Benny and Sam.

Born from the loving union of Ima Jean and Elmer Richard Irving Wayne Capps.

A supreme example of a diligent work ethic through 37 years of service to Ford Motor Company with his most recent position being Health and Safety Inspector.

Robert was also a proud upstanding member of the United Automobile Workers Union.

The fame and prowess from his high school glory years running for the Henryetta Fighting Hens and bearing the number 25 while playing the position of running back was just a preface to the magic in which he brought to us during his time here.

The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18th @ 1:00 pm and held to 3:00pm at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Kennedale Subletting Rd. Kennedale, Texas 76060.

In closing I shall leave you with words of faith from second Corinthians 4:7-12;

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.
