Shirley Stutts

Shirley Ann Stutts, 82, passed away on July 30, 2020. She was born on February 13,1938 in Laneville, TX to Willie Lee Ivy and Sleta Bell (White) Ivy. Shirley grew up in Laneville, TX and moved with her family  to Forth Worth, TX as a child. She had a wonderful and fulfilling career at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas.

Shirley married Gene Stutts on Feb. 2, 1992. They were happily married for over 28 years.  Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family with all of her heart and had a zest for life. She never missed a family celebration or holiday. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, dancing with her husband, family and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Willie Lee"Bill" Ivy; her mother, Sleta Bell Ivy; three sisters, May Belle Akin, Billie Ruth Thrasher, and Gayle Bradford; Brothers; Lonnie Ivy and Loyd Ivy.

Those left to cherish Shirley's memories are her beloved husband, Gene of Fort Worth, TX; Daughter; Sherry Scott and husband Randy; daughter, Sharon Clayton and wife Lynn Hartung; Granddaughter, Amanda Scott; Grandson, Ryan Scott; two great grandchildren, Kylie Scott and Koltyn Scott; nieces.

A Memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Funeral Home on Wed., August 5 at 1:00 at 500 Kennedale Sublett Rd., Kennedale, TX  76060
