Trudy Ann Jones, 71, passed away on January 21, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Granbury, Texas from a long hard battle with cancer. She was born on September 10, 1950, in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Harvey and Fay Nabors Neal.

Trudy grew up in Kennedale where she attended Kennedale High School. After high school, she spent her time raising 3 children and ran the daily operations of the family plumbing company for many years before retiring in 2007.

Trudy was a member of the Community Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed being with her 3 children and her many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Her favorite thing to do was work in her yard and traveling to the beach. She was an avid follower of her son and grandsons team roping events.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents Harvey & Fay, a grandson Trevor Dee Jones, a brother Troy Neal, a sister Betty Zubkus as well as her best friend Frank King who stood by her side through all life’s battles that she faced.

Trudy is survived by her daughters Tresia and her husband Jeff Mitchell of Granbury, Donna and her husband PeeWee Turner of Kennedale. Her son Daniel and wife Stacey Jones of Alvarado. Her sisters Ruby Walles of Mansfield, Barbara Waring of Florida, Peggy Eggert of Kennedale. Her brother Harvey Neal Jr of Spicewood. Grandchildren, Megan Childers, Ryon Riley, Briar Taylor, Chasen Mitchell, Bree Jones, Brody Jones, Greatgrandchildren Riley Childers, Carlee Childers, Lillie Childers, Andy Belle Riley, Landry Riley, Hatton Riley, Colt Taylor and future great-great-grandson Stetson Childers and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
