Obituary

Zulma Elena Valdez de Castillo was born on the 27th of November of 1959 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She was the baby of a family with 8 siblings, with 4 older sisters, 2 older brothers, and a younger brother. Raised in Guatemala, the daughter of a polyglot musician and a homemaker with a heart full of infinite love, Zulma always had an appreciation for music and the arts, a beautiful singing voice, and an exceptional talent in the kitchen.

Her name is synonymous with happiness and a wonderful environment. One couldn’t get to know Zulma without knowing her great big smile, her quick wit, and her laughter that could instantly fill the room.  Many remember her as a shoulder to cry on, always ready with a hug and loving words to comfort whoever it may be.

More than anything, her faith was of utmost importance in her life. She touched the lives of hundreds of people during her decades of service to her Father Creator. She always lived her life with the goal of bringing honor to her faith and dedication to Jehovah through her conduct, fomenting and living the fruits of the spirit in her day-to-day life.
