Obituary

Ella Kate Bray, age 80, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Medical City Hospital in Arlington, Texas. She was born on August 10, 1940 in Hillsboro, Texas to Jud Weldon Beavers and Hazel Inez Beavers.

Ella grew up in Fort Worth.  She graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth part of the class of 1958.  She was a homemaker for most of her children’s life.  She returned to work in 1976 as a florist at Lige Green Flowers. She was a member of Legacy Church of Fort Worth.

Ella married Marshall Eugene Bray on September 27, 1958 in Gainesville, Texas and they were happily married for 58 years.

Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Eugene Bray; parents, Jud Weldon and Hazel Inez Beavers; son, Wesley Bray; grandson, Colby James Mooney; and sister, Barbara Jean Maddux.

Those left to cherish Ella’s memories are her children; Christi Bray Bowen and husband Ray, Tamra Mooney and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Dustin Parker and wife Brittnie, Colton Mooney and wife Samantha, Cagen Mooney, Brandi Bowen, Autumn Romo, Shelbi Romo; great grandchildren, Alyssa McCullough, Cooper Mooney, Shay Fowler, Anthony Romo, Cannon Romo; brother, Jud Beavers and wife Sandra; and special friend, Eddie Wiese.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Emerald Hills Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas 76060) at 12 pm Monday, October 12, 2020.
